Official Rules and Regulations
- NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY.
Purchase will not improve an entry’s chance of winning. Contest begins Sept 10th, 2009 and all eligible entries must be received by 11:59PM on December 31st, 2009.
- ENTRY ONLINE: Complete and submit the official entry page for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games contest at www.inniskillin.com. All entries must be received by 11:59 PM EST on December 31st, 2009. Web site tracking determines date and time of entry. Limit one entry per person. If it is discovered that you attempted to enter more than once, all your entries will be void. The Sponsor is not responsible for any defect or delay in transmission or communication; technical or mechanical malfunctions; failures or malfunctions of phones, phone lines, or telephone systems; interrupted or unavailable cable or satellite systems; errors in these Official Rules, or any Contest-related advertisements or other materials; failures of electronic equipment, computer hardware or software; or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by equipment, programming used in this Contest, human processing error, or otherwise. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to disqualify any entry and to modify, terminate, or suspend this Contest should a virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, action of entrants, or other causes corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of the Contest and, if the Contest is modified, terminated, or suspended, select a winner from those eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to event requiring such modification, termination or suspension.
- This Contest is open to residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who have reached the legal age to purchase liquor products at the start of the Contest Period, except for directors, officers, employees and contractors of Sponsor, its agents or representatives, the provincial liquor agencies, liquor licensees or any distributor or company involved in any phase of Contest administration, and the immediate family members or persons domiciled with any of the foregoing.
- There is one (1) Grand Prize available to be won. Your Vancouver 2010 package includes:
- Flights departing from any Canadian city to Vancouver International Airport
- City transportation to/from Vancouver International Airport and all sporting venues
- 3 nights accommodation (based on double occupancy)
- 2 tickets to two Olympic sporting events chosen by Vincor
- Whistler or Vancouver optional day activity
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner each day in some of Vancouver’s and Whistler’s finest restaurants chosen by Vincor
- Vincor Canada Vancouver 2010 wearables
The retail value of the prizes is $16,000.00 CDN. Prize must be accepted as awarded, is not transferable and is not redeemable for cash. Winner and guest are responsible for all items of a personal nature, ground transportation from the winner’s residence to and from the airport, upgrades, tour add-ons, cancellation and medical insurance, meals (other than those specified), gratuities, and all other expenses not covered within the prize package. Travel is subject to availability and dates are at the discretion of Sponsor. Some other restrictions may apply. All travel arrangements must be made prior to trip through travel agent of Sponsor’s selection and are subject to Sponsor’s final approval.
- The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The Sponsor and/or its representatives reserve the right at any time to substitute the prize (or component thereof) for any reason so long as a prize (or component) of comparable value is substituted.
- WINNER SELECTION. The selected entrant will be selected in a random drawing in Mississauga, ON, from among all eligible entries received electronically by an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest. In order to be declared the winner, the selected entrant must have complied with these rules and must correctly answer a mathematical, skill-testing question, without assistance of any kind, to be administered by mail. Winner and guest must sign a Declaration of Compliance with Contest Rules and a Liability and Publicity Release accepting the prize as awarded, and releasing Sponsor, VANOC, the Sponsor’s Designated Agent, any distributor or company involved in the supply of the Prize or any phase of contest administration, their affiliated companies, respective officers, directors, partners, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns, respective advertising and promotion agencies and any immediate family member or persons with whom they are domiciled, from any liability, including, without limitation, any damages, losses or injury in connection with this Contest, the awarding of the prizes and/or resulting from acceptance or use of the prizes including any travel or prize related activity. The selected entrant will be notified by mail, or by telephone, within seven (7) days of the draw date (January 2nd, 2010). If the selected entrant cannot be contacted within fourteen (14) days of selection, if there is a return of any prize notification as undeliverable, or if the entrant fails to comply with any of the foregoing, that entrant will be disqualified and an alternate entrant will be selected from among the remaining eligible entries.
- The provincial liquor agencies and Duty Free stores are not connected with this Contest in any manner whatsoever and are not liable in any way whatsoever in regard to any matter that relates to this Contest.
- By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the use of his or her name and or photograph, without compensation, to be used for promotional purposes by the Sponsor. All information obtained from non-winning ballots will be used only for the purpose of conducting this Contest. The winner’s guest will also be required to sign and return a publicity and liability release in order to participate in the prize.
- This Contest is subject to all relevant Canadian laws, is owned and operated by the Sponsor. The Sponsor is not responsible for any printing errors or omissions and reserves the right to cancel or amend this Contest in the event of such an error or omission.
- All taxes and expenses not expressly mentioned in these official rules are the responsibility of the respective winners.
- ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE COMPETITION IS IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of this Competition or web site; to be in violation of the terms of service of the web site; to be acting in violation of these Official Rules; or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Automated entries (including but not limited to entries submitted using any bot, script, macro or Competition service), copies, third-party entries, facsimiles and/or mechanical reproductions are not permitted and will be disqualified. In the event of multiple persons attempting to enter the Competition through one email account, the authorized account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, on line service provider or other organization, which is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address.
